Update to CGSB Standards for Packaging of Category A and B infectious substances, and clinical and (bio) medical waste

Standards

The Standards Council of Canada (SCC) and the Canadian General Standards Board have announced the publication of an updated edition of CGSB-43.125, Packaging of Category A and Category B infectious substances (Class 6.2) and clinical and (bio) medical waste. This standard specifies requirements for designing, manufacturing, marking, testing and using means of containment to transport infectious substances and medical waste. This standard is intended to be incorporated by reference into the federal Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Regulations
